Author Guidelines
1. Manuscript Eligibility
JEVTE welcomes original and unpublished manuscripts focusing on electrical vocational education. Submissions must not be under review or accepted elsewhere. Manuscripts can be research-based or conceptual works relevant to the teaching, curriculum, or professional development within vocational electrical education settings.
2. Language and Length
Manuscripts must be written in Bahasa Indonesia, using proper academic language. The manuscript should be between 8 to 10 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
3. Title and Author Identity

The title must be concise (max. 20 words), informative, and reflect the article content. Use Times New Roman 12 pt, bold, center-aligned.

Authors' names are listed without academic titles. Include institutional affiliation and full address.

Indicate the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) and provide a valid email address.
4. Abstract and Keywords
-
Abstracts must be written in two languages (English and Bahasa Indonesia), in one paragraph, 150–200 words, single-spaced, Times New Roman 11 pt.

Each abstract must be followed by 2–5 keywords (italicized and bold), written below the abstract.
5. Article Structure
Please structure the manuscript as follows:

Introduction (Max. 20% of the body): Background, problem gap, theory, prior studies, and research novelty.

Method (Max. 10% for qualitative or 15% for quantitative research): Research design, participants, tools, procedures, and instruments used.

Results and Discussion (Min. 60% of the body): Results are presented first (using tables, charts, or descriptions), followed by discussion aligned with theory and previous research.

Conclusion (Approx. 10%): Summary of findings, alignment with objectives, and suggestions for further research.
6. Tables and Figures

All tables and figures must be cited in the text.

Avoid repetition between narrative text and table/figure content.
-
Tables should be simple (no vertical lines), and figures should be high quality and readable.

Use clear captions and number each item sequentially.
7. Citation and References

Use the APA (6th Edition) citation style.

In-text citations follow this format:
-
One author: (Retnowati, 2018)
-
Two authors: (Nurgiyantoro & Efendi, 2017)
-
More than three authors: (Janssen et al., 2010)

Direct quotes under 40 words should be within quotation marks; 40+ words must be formatted in a block quote without quotation marks.
8. Reference List

References must be arranged alphabetically and only include sources cited in the text.

9. Review Process
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review by reviewers with relevant expertise. Authors must respond to reviewer feedback and revise the manuscript accordingly.
