MENYINGKAP TIRAI DEKADENSI; Penghormatan dan Pemenuhan HAM dalam Apologi Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan di Indonesia

Abstract

This article mentions that state has responsibility and duty to promote, protect and fulfill the right to education. As human rights, the right to education must be conducted by the state to ensure its availability, accessibility, adaptability and affordability. The quality of education in Indonesia has been arranged to compatible with the aim of Indonesian education system such as curriculum, learning methods, modification of the educational sources and development of teachers. However, implementation of the main aims of education as stated by the Indonesian Constitution 1945 and Law Number 20 Year 2003 concerning National Education System have comprehensively realized yet. This article strongly recommends the application of human rights based approach to education.
