Submission Checklist

Kindly ensure:

  1. An overview of the Focus & Scope can assist in determining whether your manuscript is appropriate for this journal.
  2. Utilize the template provided by Microsoft Word other media allowed to organize your manuscript.
  3. Ensure proper consideration has been given to publication ethics, copyright, authorship, figure formats, data and reference formats;
  4. Verify that the submitted manuscript has received the full approval of all authors and that they have thoroughly reviewed the Instructions for Authors.

Varieties of Publications

It is necessary to provide comprehensive experimental details in order to reproduce the results. Authors are obligated to publish all experimental controls and provide complete datasets for the Journal of Indonesian Active in Sports (JIAS).

Prior publication or ongoing peer review in another journal is not permissible for manuscripts that are to be submitted to the Journal of Indonesian Active in Sports (JIAS). A comprehensive list of article types is provided here; however, it should be noted that not all disciplines offer access to all article types. The primary article types are outlined below.

  • Article: These are the authors' original research manuscripts. The study should report on scientifically valid experiments and provide a significant amount of new information. The essay should incorporate the most recent and pertinent references in the field. The organization should comprise parts such as Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusions.
  • Review: Reviews provide a thorough examination of the existing literature in a subject of study, highlighting current gaps or issues. They should be critical and constructive, offering suggestions for future research. No previously unpublished data should be presented. The format may consist of an Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Relevant Sections, Discussion, Conclusions, and Future Directions.
