About the Journal

Journal of Professional Engineers (JIP) is a reputable, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to civil, mechanical, electrical, and related engineering disciplines. It appears biannually—in January and July—and all published articles receive a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier) under the prefix 10.24114/jip via Crossref. While the Online ISSN 2809-1515 is already assigned, the Print ISSN remains under registration.

The journal’s scholarly integrity is ensured by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Ir. Syafiatun Siregar, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng., who sets its editorial policies and quality standards. Publication and administration are managed by Universitas Negeri Medan, which provides the technical and organizational support required for a rigorous peer-review process and wide dissemination of articles.
