PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VISUAL BERUPA POSTER TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN TEKS DESKRIPSI SISWA KELAS V SDN 064024 JL. PRONA I KEC. MEDAN SELAYANG

Abstract


The ineffective learning of writing descriptive texts in class V A of SDN 064024 JL Prona I has resulted in suboptimal description writing skills. Learning to write descriptive essays by teachers often uses direct assignments with reading text media. Therefore, teachers need to utilize learning media to help learning become innovative. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of visual learning media in the form of posters on the ability to write descriptive text essays of class V A students of SDN 064024 JL. Prona I. The type of research used by researchers is a pre-experimental research method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 20 students of class V A. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula, it is known that the value of tcount = 5.823 and ttable = 2.093, with these results can be compared to the two values so that the t count> t table is 5.823> 2.093. Based on the results, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which states that there is a significant effect of visual learning media in the form of posters on the ability to write descriptive text essays of grade V students of SDN 064024 Medan Selayang than before using image media.
