PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V SD

Abstract


This research was motivated by the use of less varied learning models and the science learning outcomes were still low. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of Science Chapter 5 topic1 Science material in class V students at SD Negeri 106164 Sambirejo Timur. The sample for this research was class V of SD Negeri 106164 Sambirejo Timur which consisted of 2 classes, namely 24 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. This research method is an experiment of the Quasy Experiment Design type. The design used is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this research used tests, observation, documentation and interviews. The research results show that learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model are higher. The statistical test results show that student learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model are pretest 53 and posttest 84.66, while learning outcomes using the Expository model are pretest 52.5 and posttest 63.8. The research data analysis technique uses the t-test formula. The hypothesis results prove that tcount > ttable or 8.8337 > 2,01290 at the significance level α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence from the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in chapter 5 topic 1 science content for class V students at SD Negeri 106164 Sambirejo Timur.
