PENGARUH METODE GASING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SDN 175785 SIJARANGO 1 KECAMATAN PAKKAT T.A 2023/2024

Abstract


This study aims to determine: (1) students’ learning outcomes before implementing the GASING method in instruction, (2) students’ mathematics learning outcomes after implementing the GASING method, and (3) the effect of the GASING method on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 175785 Sijarango 1, Pakkat distric, Academic Year 2023/2024. The research was conducted using a Pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The population consisted of 23 fourth-grade students, and the entire sample received treatment through the implementation of the GASING Mathematics Method. Data collection involved pretests and posttests, along with documentation. The average pretest score was 42.39, and the average post-test score was 72.61. The data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-test, with a calculated t-value (17.133) greater than the critical t-value (2.073) at a significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, indicating the influence of the GASING method on mathematics learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 175785 Sijarango 1, Pakkat distric, Academic Year 2023/2024
