PENINGKATAN KESIAPAN BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstract : The background of this research was by the low readiness and learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN Sokokulon 01 Pati. Based on the results of the initial research activity data, it is known that the learning readiness of students in the pre- cycle is 59% of each variable aspect and 60% of students have low learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve learning readiness and learning outcomes through discovery learning models assisted by audio-visual media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SDN Sokokulon 01 Pati totaling 20 people, 9 girls and 11 boys. learners. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, documentation and observation. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in each learning cycle, namely for the learning readiness variable, respectively, from 59% to 64%, 76% 80%. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes variable increased from 40% to 65%, 80% and 85%. The research reached the indicator of success in the third cycle. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in learning readiness and learning outcomes through discovery learning models assisted by audio- visual media.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kesiapan dan hasil belajar peseta didik di kelas IV SDN Sokokulon 01 Pati. Berdasarkan hasil data kegiatan awal penelitian diketahui bahwa kesiapan belajar peserta didik pada prasiklus adalah 59% dari setiap aspek variabel serta 60% peserta didik memiliki hasil belajar yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kesiapan belajar dan hasil belajar melalui model discovery learning berbantuan media audio visual. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus yang masing-masing siklusnya terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sokokulon 01 Pati berjumlah 20 orang, 9 anak perempuan dan 11 anak laki-laki. peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pada setiap siklus pembelajaran yaitu untuk variabel kesiapan belajar secara berturut-turut dari 59% menjadi 64%, 76% 80%. Sedangkan untuk variabel hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan dari 40% menjadi 65%, 80% dan 85%. Penelitian mencapai indikator keberhasilan pada siklus ke III. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan kesiapan belajar dan hasil belajar melalui model discovery learning berbantuan media audio visual.
