PENGARUH SIBLING RIVALRY TERHADAP KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL ANAK USIA SEKOLAH

Abstract


Abstract: The Effect of Sibling Rivalry on the Emotional Intelligence of SchoolAge Children. This study aims to determine the effect of sibling rivalry on the emotional intelligence of school-age children. This research involved students in grades 3-6 at SDN 27 Pagi Utan Kayu Selatan, East Jakarta. This research uses associative quantitative method. Data processing techniques using a simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant effect on sibling rivalry on emotional intelligence. The results of this study also show that there is a negative and weak relationship between sibling rivalry and emotional intelligence. These results indicate that the lower the sibling rivalry, the higher the emotional intelligence in children.

Abstrak: Pengaruh Sibling Rivalry Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Usia Sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sibling rivalry terhadap kecerdasan emosional anak usia sekolah. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas 3-6 di SDN 27 Pagi Utan Kayu Selatan, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada sibling rivalry terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan lemah antara sibling rivalry dengan kecerdasan emosional. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin rendah sibling rivalry maka semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional pada anak.
