ANALISIS PERAN GURU DALAM MEMBINA KARAKTER SISWA TERHADAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN PADA PROGRAM ADIWIYATA SD GAMBIRAN

Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this research is to detail how the Adiwiyata program is implemented in the classroom and how the teacher is involved in assessing the effectiveness of the program. This study used a qualitative approach in the form of case studies, collecting data through observation and documentation as well as interviews with teachers and students. The result of the research is that some children still don't appreciate the need to protect the environment, and this is a real problem. After talking with educators about how to encourage and manage environmentally conscious classroom practices. The program carried out by the school, namely Adiwiyata, is a program that instills character ideals in students as a means of character development. The Adiwiyata program relies on regular inspections and identification of problems that need to be corrected in order to successfully develop students' character. In this way it can be concluded that there are still some children who do not care about the environment and with the Adiwiyata program it is hoped that this will change their views on the environment.

Keyword: building character, caring for the environment, the role of the teacher.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merinci bagaimana pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata di dalam kelas dan bagaimana keterlibatan guru dalam menilai keefektifan program tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus, pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi serta wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu beberapa anak masih tidak menghargai perlunya melindungi lingkungan, dan ini adalah masalah nyata. Setelah berbicara dengan pendidik tentang cara mendorong dan mengelola praktik kelas sadar lingkungan. Adapun program yang dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah yaitu Adiwiyata adalah program yang menanamkan cita-cita karakter kepada siswa sebagai sarana pengembangan karakter. Program Adiwiyata mengandalkan pemeriksaan rutin dan identifikasi masalah yang perlu diperbaiki agar berhasil menumbuhkan karakter siswa. Dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa masih ada beberapa anak yang kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan dan dengan adanya program Adiwiyata ini diharapkan dapat merubah pandangan terhadap lingkungan.
