PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING STRATEGI KOLABORATIF BERBANTUAN PUZZLE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA KELAS IV

Abstract: The problem in this study is the low critical thinking ability in mathematics learning of grade IV students of SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. The study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with a collaborative strategy assisted by puzzles on critical thinking skills, (2) the effect of the Cooperative Learning model with video learning media on critical thinking skills, and (3) the difference in the effect of the two models on critical thinking skills in mathematics learning for grade IV. This study uses a quasi-experimental design method with a population of 50 students and the sample is determined through a saturated sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is carried out using simple linear regression and t-test. The results of the study show: (1) The F count value is 25.612 > Ftable 4.28, which means that PBL with a collaborative strategy assisted by puzzles has an effect on critical thinking skills. (2) The F count value is 6.274 > Ftable 4.28, which means that Cooperative Learning with video media has an effect on critical thinking skills. (3) The calculated t value is 3.514 > t table 2.011, which shows that PBL with a collaborative strategy assisted by puzzles has a greater influence than Cooperative Learning with learning videos. Keywords: Critical thinking, collaborative, puzzle, PBL Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran matematika peserta didik kelas IV SDN 3 Kresnomulyo. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan strategi kolaboratif berbantuan puzzle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, (2) pengaruh model Cooperative Learning dengan media video pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh kedua model tersebut terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran matematika kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design dengan populasi 50 peserta didik dan sampel ditentukan melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan regresi linear sederhana dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Nilai Fhitung sebesar 25,612 > Ftabel 4,28 yang berarti PBL dengan strategi kolaboratif berbantuan puzzle berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. (2) Nilai Fhitung sebesar 6,274 > Ftabel 4,28 yang berarti Cooperative Learning dengan media video berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. (3) Nilai thitung 3,514 > ttabel 2,011 yang menunjukkan PBL dengan strategi kolaboratif berbantuan puzzle lebih berpengaruh daripada Cooperative Learning dengan video pembelajaran.
