ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA RUMAH LIMAS BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY UNTUK PENGUATAN SIKAP CINTA TANAH AIR SISWA KELAS 3 SD

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the need for developing Rumah Limas learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) as an effort to strengthen students' love for their country in the second grade of elementary school. The needs analysis was conducted because thematic learning in elementary schools still minimally integrates local wisdom values and does not utilize interactive technology that is suitable for students' characteristics. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to teachers and students at SD Negeri 103 Palembang. The data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that most students were not familiar with Rumah Limas as a traditional house in South Sumatra, while teachers did not have digital media that displayed local cultural elements in their teaching. A total of 85% of teachers stated the need for innovative learning media that is interesting, easy to use, and can instill national values through the context of regional culture. Based on these results, there is a need for AR-based media that presents 3D visualizations of Rumah Limas, interactive information, and character building in the form of love for the homeland. These findings form the basis for further media development to support the preservation of local culture through technology-based learning. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran Rumah Limas berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai upaya penguatan sikap cinta tanah air pada siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan karena pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar masih minim mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal serta belum memanfaatkan teknologi interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket kepada guru serta siswa di SD Negeri 103 Palembang. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum mengenal Rumah Limas sebagai rumah adat Sumatera Selatan, sementara guru belum memiliki media digital yang menampilkan unsur budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran. Sebanyak 85% guru menyatakan perlunya media pembelajaran inovatif yang menarik, mudah digunakan, serta dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan melalui konteks budaya daerah. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diperlukan rancangan media berbasis AR yang menyajikan visualisasi 3D Rumah Limas, informasi interaktif, serta penguatan karakter cinta tanah air. Temuan ini menjadi dasar bagi tahap pengembangan media yang lebih lanjut untuk mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal melalui pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.
