Abstrak: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of read-aloud habituation in improving literacy and numeracy skills of elementary school students in West Papua. Data were obtained through literacy and numeracy tests administered before and after the learning process, as well as observations of classroom activities. The results indicate an improvement in literacy skills, particularly in reading comprehension, reading fluency, and vocabulary mastery. In addition, students’ numeracy skills also improved, especially in understanding word problems and mathematical reasoning. These findings suggest that read-aloud habituation can serve as an effective instructional strategy to support the enhancement of literacy and numeracy skills among elementary school students.
