HUBUNGAN ANTARA AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI

Abstract: Geography learning demands active involvement to achieve comprehensive spatial understanding. This study investigates the relationship between learning activities and student learning outcomes at MA Manahijul Huda. A quantitative correlational method was applied to a sample of 53 students. Instruments included a four-point Likert-scale observation sheet and summative assessment documentation. Data analysis utilized the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Results showed that the classical average of student learning activity was classified as "Very Active". There is a very strong and significant positive relationship (r=0.970; p<0.001) between these two variables. In conclusion, active participation absolutely contributes to improving students' academic achievements.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran Geografi menuntut keterlibatan aktif peserta didik untuk mencapai pemahaman keruangan yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi hubungan antara aktivitas belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa di MA Manahijul Huda. Metode kuantitatif desain korelasional digunakan pada sampel 53 siswa. Instrumennya meliputi lembar observasi berskala Likert empat poin dan dokumentasi nilai asesmen sumatif. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal tergolong "Sangat Aktif". Terbukti ada hubungan positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan (r=0,970; p<0,001) antara kedua variabel tersebut. Kesimpulannya, partisipasi aktif berkontribusi mutlak terhadap peningkatan ketuntasan capaian akademik peserta didik.
