PENGARUH KONSEP DIRI DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of self-concept and achievement motivation on mathematics literacy of elementary students. This quantitative study used a survey method with a causal-comparative correlational design involving 44 students. Instruments included questionnaires and tests. Results showed that self-concept significantly affects mathematics literacy (t-count 3.602 > t-table 2.020; Sig.=0.001) and achievement motivation also significantly affects mathematics literacy (t-count 4.399 > t-table 2.020; Sig.=0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect (F-count 34.195 > F-table 3.23; Sig.=0.000) with a contribution of 62.5% (R Square=0.625). This study concludes that self-concept and achievement motivation significantly improve elementary students' mathematics literacy.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap literasi matematika siswa SD. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan desain korelasional kausal-komparatif melibatkan 44 siswa. Instrumen berupa angket dan tes. Hasil menunjukkan konsep diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi matematika (t-hitung 3,602 > t-tabel 2,020; Sig.=0,001) dan motivasi berprestasi juga berpengaruh signifikan (t-hitung 4,399 > t-tabel 2,020; Sig.=0,000). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan (F-hitung 34,195 > F-tabel 3,23; Sig.=0,000) dengan kontribusi 62,5%. Simpulan: konsep diri dan motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi matematika siswa SD..
