This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher motivation and students' interest in reading at the elementary school level. Low student interest in reading is still a challenge in the world of education, which is characterized by a lack of enthusiasm and independent reading habits. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Literature review from various scientific journal sources. The results showed that teacher motivation has a significant role in increasing students' interest in reading. Teachers who act as facilitators, motivators and mentors are able to create a learning environment that supports a culture of literacy. Strategies include providing reading corners, counseling on the importance of reading and implementing literacy activities 15 minutes before lessons. This finding reinforces the importance of teachers' active role in fostering interest in reading through a fun and sustainable approach.References
