Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect on the yield learning model to study mathematics. The population in this study are all students of class VII (seven) Junior Private Lessons PAB Medan Year 2005-2006 totaling 200 students, divided into five kelas.Sampel research consists of two classes totaling 80 students obtained using cluster random sampling technique , each one class as a class eksprimen and one control class. Type of instruments used in the form of math achievement test. The method used was a quasi experiment. The results showed (1) the learning of mathematics students who are taught using interactive learning model are higher than the students who were taught using conventional teaching model, therefore the learning process for teachers of mathematics are advised to implement an interactive learning model
