MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA DALAM MATAKULIAH KALKULUS PEUBAH BANYAK MELALUI INTEGRASI AUTOGRAPH DAN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN MODEL DEKOMPOSISI GENETIK

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efektivitas
penggunaan perangkat lunak Autograph dan Aktivitas Pembelajaran
Model Dekomposisi Genetik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman
konseptual mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas
MIPA Unimed pada matakuliah Kalkulus Peubah Banyak. Selain itu,
penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peningkatan
pemahaman prosedural mahasiswa dalam matakuliah Kalkulus Peubah
Banyak melalui integrasi perangkat lunak Autograph dan Aktivitas
Pembelajaran Model Dekomposisi Genetik yang didasari oleh teori
APOS (Action-Proses-Object-Schema). Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian studi kasus dengan memanfaatkan data kualitiatif yang
didukung oleh data kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan
rancangan non-equivalent pre-test dan post-test control group.
Rancangan quasi-experimental dipilih karena penelitian ini
menggunakan kelompok-kelompok tetap sebagai subjek penelitian.
Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap yang dimulai dari tahap
persiapan: penyusunan dan pengujian instrumen, serta penyusunan
pedoman wawancara. Tahap kedua dalam penelitian adalah intervensi
kelas, wawancara, pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran model
Dekomposisi Genetik, pengumpulan data, dan analisis data. Tahap
ketiga adalah pelaporan hasil dan publikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis
data kuantitatif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran
yang menggunakan perangkat lunak Autograph dan Aktivitas
Pembelajaran Model Dekomposisi Genetik dapat meningkatkan
pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa pada matakuliah Kalkulus Peubah
Banyak secara efektif. Kedua jenis pemahaman, yaitu pemahaman
konseptual dan pemahaman prosedural Kalkulus Peubah Banyak, yang
diselidiki dalam penelitian ini ditemukan telah berhasil ditingkatkan
dengan menggunakan pendekatan ini.
