PENGARUH LATIHAN PLYOMETRIC TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SMASH ATLET BOLA VOLI PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SEMARANG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan plyometric terhadap kemampuan smash atlet bola voli. Latar penelitian didasarkan pada kebutuhan pembinaan atlet UKM Bola Voli Universitas Negeri Semarang tahun 2025 yang memiliki 28 atlet Tim Bola Voli 2, terdiri atas 16 putra dan 12 putri, serta menjalani latihan rutin setiap Senin dan Rabu pukul 18.00 di GOR KAMISO FIK UNNES. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Program latihan plyometric dilaksanakan selama 6 minggu atau 12 pertemuan, meliputi squat jump, tuck jump, lateral bound, hurdle jump, jump to box, dan depth jump dengan prinsip progresivitas beban, spesifisitas, dan pemulihan. Instrumen utama adalah tes kemampuan smash 10 kali kesempatan dengan skor 0-100, sedangkan vertical jump digunakan sebagai data pendukung. Pada data simulasi, rerata kemampuan smash meningkat dari 62.08 ± 5.42 menjadi 72.35 ± 6.18. Uji t berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan, t(27) = 16.85, p < 0.001, dengan effect size sangat besar (Cohen dz = 3.19). Rerata vertical jump juga meningkat dari 49.70 ± 5.99 cm menjadi 53.98 ± 6.78 cm. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa latihan plyometric berpotensi meningkatkan komponen daya ledak tungkai yang mendukung kemampuan smash. Temuan ini perlu diverifikasi menggunakan data empirik aktual dan desain kontrol yang lebih kuat pada penelitian lanjutan.
