PENGELOLAAN PERPUSTAKAAN SEKOLAH UNTUK MENDUKUNG BUDAYA LITERASI DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe the management of school libraries to support literacy culture in elementary schools. The method used in this research is qualitative with data collection instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data sources in this research are library managers, teachers and students. Secondary data sources in this research are archives and images. Data validity uses source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. With data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained were that school library management at SDN 170 Pekanbaru had carried out planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Obtained from the results of library managers creating activity programs to support literacy culture, namely library visit programs, madding filling programs, talent display programs, and reading corner programs.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah untuk mendukung budaya literasi disekolah dasar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kualitatif dengan instrument pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini yaitu pengelola perpustakaan, guru, dan siswa. Sumber data sekunder pada penelitian ini yaitu arsip dan gambar. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi waktu. Dengan Teknik analisis data yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Diperoleh hasil pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah di SDN 170 Pekanbaru telah melakukan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Diperoleh hasil pengelola perpustakaan membuat program kegiatan untuk mendukung budaya literasi yaitu program kunjungan perpustakaan, program pengisian madding, program penampilan bakat, dan program pojok baca.
