PERAN RESILIENSI DALAM MEMEDIASI SELF-COMPASSION DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP BURNOUT GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract: This study examines the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between self-compassion, social support, and teacher burnout in elementary schools. A quantitative ex post facto design was employed. The sample consisted of 230 teachers selected from 484 public elementary school teachers in Sungai Kunjang District, Samarinda. Data were collected using validated scales of self-compassion, social support, resilience, and burnout. Path analysis was conducted to test the mediation model. The results indicate that self-compassion and social support significantly influence resilience. However, both variables do not directly affect burnout. Resilience significantly affects burnout and fully mediates the relationship between self-compassion, social support, and burnout. Strengthening teacher resilience is therefore essential to reduce burnout risk.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran resiliensi dalam memediasi hubungan self-compassion dan dukungan sosial terhadap burnout guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel berjumlah 230 guru dari populasi 484 guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda yang dipilih menggunakan proportionate random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala self-compassion, dukungan sosial, resiliensi, dan burnout yang telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resiliensi. Self-compassion dan dukungan sosial tidak berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap burnout. Resiliensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap burnout serta memediasi secara penuh hubungan self-compassion dan dukungan sosial terhadap burnout. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan resiliensi sebagai strategi preventif dalam menekan risiko burnout guru sekolah dasar.
