ANALISIS KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS RENDAH DALAM MEMAHAMI KONSEP BANGUN DATAR DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the various learning difficulties experienced by low-grade elementary school students in understanding the concept of flat shapes. The main focus is on the internal and external factors that influence the mathematics learning process, particularly in geometry. Through a literature study approach, data was collected and synthesized from various relevant scientific sources. The results of the analysis show that students’ low understanding of flat shapes is influenced by monotonous teaching methods, lack of interactive learning media, and lack of interest and motivation in learning mathematics. In addition, the difference in basic ability background between students and the lack of parental involvement are also inhibiting factors. This study suggests the use of contextual approaches, the utilization of technology, and the provision of interesting learning media as strategies to overcome the existing obstacles. Thus, the geometry learning process can be more effective and enjoyable for students.References
