MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN GURU BAHASA INGGRIS DALAM MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TPS DI SMP N 2 TEBING TINGGI

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah. Penelitian berlokasi di kota Tebing Tinggi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Inggris di SMP Negeri 2 tahun pelajaran 2013 “ 2014.Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus, Siklus I dengan satu pertemuan dan Siklus ke II  dengan satu pertemuan. Tiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Observasi dan pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan oleh guru sekaligus peneliti dengan dibantu oleh dua orang kolaborator. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan membuat dan menerapkan pembelajaraan kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat membantu siswa dalam pemahaman konsep pembelajaran dan mengasyikan untuk belajar bersama
