For this reason, then: Articles must be original, unpublished, and not being evaluated for other publications. Material obtained orally from other sources must be recorded properly so that it can be distinguished from the original text. If plagiarism is revealed, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve the action based on the level of plagiarism revealed, in accordance with the rules below:

Level of Plagiarism:

  • Plagiarizing several short sentences from another article without citing the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and citations properly.

  • Plagiarizing most of another article without proper citation and not citing the source. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the Sibatik Journal and the author may be subject to sanctions because it is not allowed to be published in the School Education Journal PGSD FIP UNIMED
