MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII A MELALUI METODE OBSERVASI YANG DIVARIASIKAN DENGAN LKS WORD SQUARE DI SMA NEGERI 1 TEBING TINGGI

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini didesain melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tujuan dari  penelitian  ini adalah  untuk  mengetahui  peningkatan  hasil  belajar  materi Klasifikasi Hewan melalui penerapan metode observasi yang divariasikan dengan LKS Word square di kelas XI-2 SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas  XI-2 SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi dengan jumlah siswa 40 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), observasi (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah (1) peningkatan persentase  siswa  yang  memperoleh  nilai ≥65 atau  jumlah siswa  yang  belajar tuntas meningkat menjadi 85%, (2) ketuntasan keaktifan klasikal ≥75%.
