Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Tematik upholds academic integrity and the ethics of scholarly publication. Therefore, every manuscript submitted to this journal will undergo a plagiarism check before entering the peer-review stage.

General Policy:

  • Submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the author, have never been published, and are not currently under review by another journal.

  • Every manuscript will be checked using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or a similar tool).

  • Articles with a similarity index of more than 25% (excluding recognized quotes) will be immediately rejected or returned for revision.

Prohibited Types of Plagiarism:

  • Direct plagiarism: Copying text from other sources without proper citation.

  • Idea plagiarism: Taking ideas, argument structures, or findings without acknowledgment.

  • Self-plagiarism: Reusing one's own previously published work without proper citation or permission.

Actions Against Violations:

  • A manuscript will be rejected at the initial stage if it contains severe plagiarism.

  • If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted from the journal.

  • Authors found to have committed serious violations may be sanctioned with a rejection of manuscripts for future editions for a certain period.
