Jurnal Geografi is a journal committed to the principles of Open Access and the widest possible dissemination of scientific research. This Copyright Notice outlines the terms under which articles published by Jurnal Geografi are subject to the terms, emphasizing the retention of copyright by authors and the Creative Commons licenses governing the use of published works. The goal is to protect the rights of authors while ensuring that articles can be accessed, shared, and developed globally.

Authors who publish articles in Jurnal Geografi retain full copyright over their work. Jurnal Geografi does not require authors to transfer their copyright to the journal or its publisher, the Department of Geography Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Medan. Authors grant Jurnal Geografi a license for first publication.

All articles published in Jurnal Geografi are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.
This license allows users, including readers and the general public, to:
