Abstract

Cases of bullying in educational institutions has high number every year. This is corroborated by Mrs. Novriza Puspita Widiyana, S.Pd., the fourth-grade homeroom teacher at SDN 119 Cijagra, who reports at least three cases of bullying each month. Based on the characteristics of children aged 9-12 years, the use of educational play tools can be an effective solution as a medium for campaigning anti-bullying values. Board games, which involve experimental learning processes, hands-on play, and actions that engage children's social-emotional skills with their environment, can help children aged 9-12 years more effectively absorb the values intended to be instilled through educational play tools. This study aims to design educational play tools as a medium for anti-bullying campaigns that support the social-emotional development of children aged 9-12 years by applying the concept of board games. The research is conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach and the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate) design method. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and literature review, using an inductive model approach for data processing. Through this design research, it is expected to become an effective and enjoyable campaign medium for children aged 9-12 years.
