JASP does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs) or publication fees.
Authors are not required to pay any fees for:

The peer-review process is conducted independently of the authors' ability or willingness to pay any publication-related fees.
Editorial Independence
The absence of publication charges does not influence the editorial or peer-review process.
All manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics policies.
Editorial decisions are not influenced by an author's institutional affiliation, nationality, or financial circumstances.
Institutional Support
JASP's publication is supported by its institutional publisher, allowing the journal to provide open access to published research without charging authors or readers.
JASP is committed to maintaining an equitable and accessible scholarly publishing environment for researchers, academics, practitioners, and other contributors in architecture, spatially based urban design, and the built environment.
Transparency of Publication Fees
JASP has no hidden submission, review, processing, or publication charges.
Any future changes to the journal's publication fee policy will be clearly announced on the journal website before taking effect and will not be applied retroactively to manuscripts already submitted under the previous policy.
