Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Copyright and License Agreement
Please read and understand the copyright terms for submissions to Jurnal Merah Putih Sekolah Dasar (JMPSD) before submitting your manuscript.
1. License and Copyright Agreement
By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Merah Putih Sekolah Dasar (JMPSD), the authors confirm that:
- They are authorized by all co-authors to enter into this agreement.
- The manuscript has not been formally published previously, except as an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, thesis, or preprint, where applicable.
- The manuscript is not under consideration for publication by another journal.
- Publication of the manuscript has been approved by all authors and, where applicable, by the responsible institutions where the research was conducted.
- The authors have obtained permission to reproduce any material protected by copyright belonging to other parties.
- The authors agree to the following copyright and licensing terms.
2. Copyright
Authors who publish in Jurnal Merah Putih Sekolah Dasar (JMPSD) agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright. Authors retain the copyright of their published work and grant JMPSD the right of first publication. The published work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits others to copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. The original publication in JMPSD must also be acknowledged.

- Separate distribution arrangements. Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of their work, provided that the initial publication in JMPSD is acknowledged.
- Online dissemination. Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit or share their work online, including in institutional repositories and on personal or institutional websites, before and after publication, provided that the original publication in JMPSD is properly acknowledged.
3. Licensing for Data Publication
Data associated with articles published in JMPSD should be shared under an appropriate open license whenever possible, subject to applicable ethical, legal, privacy, and confidentiality requirements. Authors should clearly identify the license applicable to any publicly shared dataset and ensure that they have the necessary rights to distribute the data.
Where applicable, authors may use an open data license, such as the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), for datasets accompanying their articles. Any exceptions should be explained and justified by the authors.
4. Open Data and Software Sharing
JMPSD encourages research transparency and reproducibility. Authors are encouraged to share the data, research materials, code, and protocols supporting their published findings whenever ethically and legally possible.
Where data or software are publicly available, authors should deposit them in a trusted repository appropriate to the subject area or in a general-purpose repository, such as:
Authors should provide persistent identifiers, such as DOIs, and include relevant references to datasets or software in the manuscript and reference list, where applicable.
If research data cannot be shared because of ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, or institutional restrictions, the authors should provide an appropriate statement explaining the restrictions. Any shared data or software must comply with applicable permissions and licensing requirements.
