Publication Ethics

The Journal of Merah Putih Primary School Education (JMPSD) is a scholarly publication platform that publishes research articles in the field of education, particularly primary school education. This publication ethics statement applies to all parties involved in the journal publication process, including journal managers, editors, reviewers, and authors.

This publication ethics statement refers to the Regulation of the Head of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. Matters not regulated in this journal’s ethics policy shall follow the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors issued by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Scientific publication ethics uphold three fundamental ethical principles:

  1. Neutrality, which ensures freedom from conflicts of interest in managing publications;

  2. Fairness, which ensures appropriate authorship credit is given to those who have made significant contributions; and

  3. Honesty, which ensures freedom from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P).

To prevent plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin.
