ANALISIS UPAYA PENCEGAHAN FENOMENA BULLING DISEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN
Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to analyze efforts to prevent bullying in elementary schools through civic education. The research method used is a qualitative case study by taking research subjects from an elementary school in the city of Medan. Data were obtained through interviews with teachers and students, field observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that civics education can be one of the solutions to prevent bullying in elementary schools. Teachers as civic education facilitators can teach human values, cooperation, and tolerance to students so that students can avoid bullying behavior and are able to build harmonious social relations in the school environment.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya pencegahan bullying di sekolah dasar negri Kaloy Tamiang Hulu Aceh Tamiang, melalui pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan mengambil subjek penelitian dari sekolah dasar negri Kaloy Tamiang Hulu Aceh Tamiang. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, observasi di lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi pencegahan bullying di sekolah dasar. Guru sebagai fasilitator pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat mengajarkan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, kerjasama, dan toleransi kepada siswa sehingga siswa dapat menghindari perilaku bullying dan mampu membangun hubungan sosial yang harmonis di lingkungan sekolah.
