Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  1. Makalah/Artikel dapat berupa hasil penelitian atau tulisan konseptual.
  2. Makalah/ Artikel diketik dengan menggunakan MS Word dengan jumlah halaman tidak melebihi 17 lembar dengan format A4- single-sided paper, 1.15 spasi, 1 kolom, margin atas (2,5 cm), bawah (2 cm), kiri (2,5 cm) dan kanan (2 cm).
  3. Huruf yang digunakan adalah Time New Roman 10 pts (8 pts untuk gambar dan tabel.
  4. Materi dalam makalah meliputi Judul, Abstrak, Nama Pengarang, Judul Sirahan, Institusi, Pendahuluan, Kajian Teori, Metodologi Penelitian, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Kesimpulan dan Saran, Daftar Rujukan, dan Lampiran (jika ada).
  5. Setiap bagian isi materi tidak perlu diberi penomoran BAB.
  6. Makalah/ Artikel dapat dituliskan dalam Bahasa Indonesia.
  7. Pada bagian abstrak ditulis dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dengan jumlah kata maksimal 300 kata.
  8. Penulisan judul gambar dan tabel menggunakan rata tengah pada bagian bawah gambar dan diberi penomoran, bagian atas tabel dan diberi penomoran.
  9. Ukuran huruf dalam tabel harus lebih kecil dari ukuran huruf isi yaitu 8 pts.
  10. Ukuran huruf pada keterangan gambar berukuran 8 pts.
  11. Makalah/Artikel dikirimkan ke redaksi Seni Rupa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Medan selambat-lambatnya 1 bulan sebelum diterbitkan.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
