UNIMED Law Review is an academic journal established by the Business Law Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Medan State University. Published biannually in May and November, the journal serves as an open access, double peer-reviewed platform dedicated to publishing high-quality legal research. UNIMED Law Review aims to provide a space for scholarly discussions on various legal issues, encompassing topics such as constitutional law, administrative law, civil law, criminal law, Islamic law, human rights law, customary law, business law, international law, tax law, agrarian law, cyber law, environmental law, humanitarian law, economic law, intellectual property law, arbitration law, and other related areas of legal studies.

UNIMED Law Review accepts submissions from researchers worldwide. All submitted manuscripts must be original, not previously published elsewhere, and not under consideration for other publications. The journal employs plagiarism detection software to ensure the integrity of the research, and any manuscript with detected plagiarism above 20% will be automatically rejected.
