PENGALAMAN AYAH DALAM MERAWAT ANAK DENGAN AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD)

Abstract


Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) merupakan kondisi kesulitan dalam interaksi sosial dan komunikasi pada perkembangan anak yang berlangsung seumur hidup. Pola pengasuhan terhadap anak ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri terhadap orang tua khususnya seorang ayah. Tujuan review ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman ayah dalam merawat anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka. Peneliti menemukan jurnal internasional pada beberapa database yang meliputi Science Direct, Sage Pub, Springer, Elsevier, Tandfonline dan JStor dari tahun 2011-2020. Kegiatan ini meliputi review terhadap jurnal yang membahas mengenai pengalaman ayah dalam merawat anak dengan autism spectrum disorder. Setelah melakukan serangkaian screening ditemukan enam jurnal yang sesuai dengan topic tersebut. Hasil  penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengalaman merawat anak dengan autism spectrum disorder dapat memperkaya pengalaman, membutuhkan penerimaan dan dukungan lingkungan sekitar untuk mengurangi stressor yang didapatkan. Diperlukan adanya kegiatan untuk memperkaya pemahaman dalam pola pengasuhan anak kepada ayah agar kualitas hidup anak penderita Autism Spektrum Disorder semakin baik.
