Psikologi Konseling Journal of Psychological and Counseling Studies is a peer reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Medan. The journal provides a platform for researchers practitioners educators and policy makers to publish original research theoretical studies case studies literature reviews and applied innovations in psychology and counseling The journal aims to enrich scientific knowledge and promote professional practice in understanding individual interpersonal and contextual factors that shape human perception cognition behavior and emotion particularly in educational and developmental settings.

The scope includes but is not limited to empirical and mixed method research on perception attitude cognition motivation and behavioral change among students teachers counselors and educational communities studies on psychological constructs and processes such as self-esteem resilience identity emotional regulation and social cognition relevant to counseling practice and educational outcomes development validation and adaptation of instruments assessment tools or psychometric scales used in counseling and educational psychology design implementation and evaluation of guidance and counseling programs models and strategies including school counseling career counseling group counseling peer counseling and special programs such as trauma multicultural or online counseling innovation in media technology and digital interventions for counseling and psychological support including e counseling tele counseling mobile applications and media assisted learning for mental wellbeing case studies and programmatic reviews
