Abstract


Abstract: Effectiveness of Think Pair Share Learning Model (TPS) With Media Boards of Broken Operations Worth of Cognitive Ability of 4th Grade Students of SD Negeri 01 Wonokromo Kebumen.  This study aims to find out the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) leraning model with the fractional operating board media is valued against the cognitive abilitiesin grade IV SD Country 01 Wonokromo Kebumen. This research type is quantitative research. The data in this research is obtained through interview, documentation and test. The result of the analysis on cognitive ability students which is calculated using t-test with the number 17 students with the average pretest = 32,29 and postest = 93,42 known by calculation obtained thitung -12,067 while ttable 1,745 with df=16, with a significant level of 0.05 of 1.745 because thitung<ttable is -12,067< 1.745 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. Means there is a difference in the cognitive value of students better between before and after the treatment with Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model with a fractional operating board worth media is not the same. This is supported by an increase of 61,13 on student cognitive outcomes.

Abstrak: Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) Dengan Media Papan Operasi Pecahan Senilai Terhadap Kemampuan Kognitif Siswa. Kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Wonokromo Kebumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media Papan Operasi Pecahan Senilai terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Wonokromo Kebumen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil analisis terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dihitung menggunakan uji-t dengan jumlah 17 siswa dengan rata-rata pretest = 32,29 dan postest= 93,42 diketahui berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh thitung sebesar -12,067 sedangkan ttabel 1,745 dengan df=16, dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 sebesar 1,745 karena thitung< ttabel yaitu -12,067< 1,745 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan nilai kognitif siswa yang lebih baik antara sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (postest) yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media Papan Operasi Pecahan Senilai tidak sama. Hal tersebut didukung dengan adanya peningkatan sebesar 61,13 pada hasil kognitif siswa.
