This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning models and media in enhancing elementary students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from ten scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. The findings indicate that students’ low problem-solving skills are mainly due to the lack of innovative learning models and appropriate media aligned with their characteristics. The application of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Make A Match, as well as the use of concrete media, puzzles, Scratch-based applications, and videos in live worksheets, were proven to effectively improve students' conceptual understanding and learning motivation. The positive effects of problem-based learning and interactive media are reflected in the improvement of learning outcomes and students’ higher-order thinking skills. This study recommends selecting suitable models and media to create meaningful, active, and engaging learning processes, especially in elementary education.
