Abstract

This study aims to determine teacher innovations in supporting the management of the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with a mini-research approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of teachers implementing the Independent Curriculum. The results show that teachers have implemented various learning innovations, such as the use of digital media, the implementation of differentiated learning, the use of project-based learning models, and the development of more diverse assessments. These innovations have had a positive impact on the learning process, including increasing student engagement, motivation, creativity, and learning outcomes. However, several obstacles remain in its implementation, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, uneven technological capabilities, and differences in student characteristics. Therefore, support from schools, the government, and all stakeholders is needed to improve teacher competency and provide adequate facilities to support the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum. With continuous innovation, teachers can play an optimal role in supporting the management of the Independent Curriculum and improving the quality of education in elementary schools.
