This study aims to describe the role of teachers in assisting the principal in managing special service management at UPT SD Negeri 060856 Medan. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the principal, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that teachers play an important role in supporting the management of special services in schools. Their roles include assisting library services, supporting the School Health Unit (UKS) program, providing guidance for students who require special services, and giving directions regarding the utilization of available services. Furthermore, teachers collaborate with the principal in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of special service programs. However, the implementation of special services still faces several challenges, particularly limited facilities and school funding. Therefore, continuous collaboration among principals, teachers, and related stakeholders is necessary to improve the quality of special services in order to support the learning process and the optimal development of students.
