Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes in the material of spatial figures (cubes and cuboids) of class V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah. Using a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design (Nonequivalent control group design), the results show that this model has a positive and significant effect. The average pretest score for the experimental class was 36.7, while the control class was 32.27. After the intervention, the average posttest score for the experimental class reached 82.5, compared to 71.36 for the control class. The average learning outcome increase for the experimental class was 45.8, while the control class increased by 39.09. Statistical tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test results showed a significant difference (t-obtained = 14.607 > t-table = 2.139), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. Thus, the Two Stay Two Stray model has a positive and significant impact on mathematics learning outcomes.
