PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF LEARNING TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and positive side of the use of the Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share Type on Student Learning Outcomes in Theme 7 Subtheme 1 in Class III of Elementary School. This study is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experimental research type . The population in this study amounted to 40 students with samples of class III-A as an experimental class totaling 20 students and class III-B as a control class totaling 20 students. The data collection instrument used was in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that before conducting learning, the average pre-test score of the experimental class was 55.5 while the average pre-test score of the control class was 48.25. After learning was carried out in the experimental class using the think pair share type learning model , the average post-test score was 78.25 with a good category. While in the control class with a direct learning model, the average post-test score was 62.25 with a less category. In the Independent Sample T-Test test, it shows that Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha accepted and Ho rejected. So it can be concluded that "There is a positive and significant influence to improve student learning outcomes by using the cooperative learning model of the think pair share type on the subject of Food Technology for grade III at SD Negeri 064983 Medan.
