Authorship Criteria
Authorship Criteria
Jurnal Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera recognizes authorship as an important academic responsibility that reflects an individual's substantial contribution to scholarly work. The journal is committed to ensuring that authorship is assigned fairly, transparently, and in accordance with accepted publication ethics standards.
1. Criteria for Authorship
An individual may be listed as an author if they have made substantial scholarly contributions to the manuscript, including one or more of the following activities:
-
Contributing to the conception or design of the study, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of research data.
-
Drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Approving the final version of the manuscript before submission or publication.
-
Accepting accountability for their contributions and agreeing to take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the work.
All listed authors are expected to satisfy the applicable authorship requirements. Individuals who have not made substantial scholarly contributions should not be included as authors.
2. Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial team throughout the submission, peer-review, and publication processes. The corresponding author must ensure that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript, that the author list is accurate, and that all relevant disclosures and declarations are provided.
3. Author Contributions
Authors are encouraged to describe their individual contributions to the research and manuscript. Contribution statements should accurately reflect each author's role and may include conceptualization, methodology, data collection, formal analysis, writing, reviewing, editing, supervision, and project administration.
4. Changes in Authorship
Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after manuscript submission must be submitted to the editor with a clear justification and written agreement from all affected authors. The editorial team may request additional documentation before approving the change.
Changes to authorship will not be accepted solely to recognize honorary, guest, or gift authorship.
5. Acknowledgment of Contributors
Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria may be acknowledged in the acknowledgment section, provided that their contributions are accurately described and their permission is obtained when appropriate.
6. Ethical Responsibility
All authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is original, that sources are properly cited, that research data are reported accurately, and that potential conflicts of interest are disclosed. All authors must cooperate with the editorial team in addressing questions concerning the integrity of the manuscript.
Jurnal Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera follows recognized publication ethics principles, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly publishing.
