Post-Publication Discussion
Jurnal Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera (JKSS) supports constructive scholarly discussion and encourages readers, researchers, and other members of the academic community to provide feedback on articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion is an important part of maintaining research integrity, improving scholarly communication, and ensuring the accuracy of the scientific record.
1. Submission of Post-Publication Comments
Readers and researchers may submit comments, questions, or concerns regarding articles published in JKSS through the journal's official editorial contact channels.
Submissions should clearly identify the article concerned and provide a reasoned explanation supported by relevant evidence, references, or documentation where appropriate.
Comments should be scholarly, respectful, objective, and relevant to the content or findings of the published article. Personal attacks, defamatory statements, and unsupported allegations will not be accepted.
2. Editorial Assessment
The editorial team will assess submitted comments to determine their relevance, academic value, and suitability for publication. The assessment may consider the accuracy of the claims, the quality of supporting evidence, the contribution to scholarly discussion, and compliance with the journal's ethical standards.
The editor may request revisions, additional evidence, or clarification before making a decision.
3. Authors' Right to Respond
When a published comment raises substantive questions or concerns about an article, the original authors may be invited to provide a response.
Responses should address the issues raised objectively and be supported by appropriate evidence or scholarly arguments. The editorial team may review both the comment and the response to ensure fairness, accuracy, and academic relevance.
4. Publication of Comments and Responses
JKSS may publish accepted comments and author responses on its website or through another appropriate journal publication format. Published discussions should identify the original article and provide sufficient context for readers to understand the issues being addressed.
The journal reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, language, and compliance with editorial policies, while preserving their intended scholarly meaning.
5. Handling Concerns About Research Integrity
If a post-publication comment raises credible concerns about research misconduct, data accuracy, plagiarism, or other serious ethical issues, the editorial team will assess the matter in accordance with the journal's policies on allegations of research misconduct.
Depending on the evidence and the nature of the concern, the journal may publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction when justified. Appropriate institutional consultation may also be sought when necessary.
6. Ethical Standards
All participants in post-publication discussions are expected to communicate honestly, respectfully, and transparently. Comments must not contain knowingly false information, personal attacks, or material that violates the rights or privacy of others.
The editorial team will handle discussions impartially and protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
7. Commitment to Scholarly Communication
Jurnal Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera is committed to fostering an open and responsible academic environment in which published research can be critically examined, clarified, and improved. Post-publication discussion contributes to accountability, transparency, and the continuous development of scholarly knowledge.
