PARENTAL BURNOUT PADA ORANG TUA GENERASI Z DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP RELASI ORANG TUA–ANAK: NARRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW

Parental burnout semakin menjadi isu penting di kalangan orang tua Generasi Z seiring meningkatnya tuntutan pengasuhan, tekanan ekonomi, dan ekspektasi pengasuhan modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis temuan-temuan empiris dan konseptual mengenai dampak parental burnout terhadap relasi orang tua dan anak pada orang tua Generasi Z. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Narrative Literature Review (NLR) dengan menelaah artikel jurnal peer-reviewed yang terindeks dalam Scopus selama periode 2021–2026. Literatur dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola utama, mekanisme psikologis, faktor pelindung, serta konteks demografis dan budaya yang membentuk pengalaman burnout. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa parental burnout berkaitan secara signifikan dengan meningkatnya konflik orang tua dan anak, menurunnya keintiman emosional, dan melemahnya kohesi keluarga, dengan hubungan dua arah yang saling memperkuat antara kelelahan pengasuhan dan kesulitan relasional. Dampak burnout dimediasi oleh kelelahan emosional, pola asuh keras, rendahnya empati, dan gangguan regulasi emosi, sementara regulasi emosi adaptif, kualitas coparenting, dukungan sosial, dan ketahanan keluarga berfungsi sebagai faktor pelindung. Selain itu, perbedaan gender memoderasi pengalaman dan konsekuensi burnout, di mana ibu mengalami dampak emosional yang lebih besar, sementara burnout ayah lebih berkaitan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis anak. Faktor kepribadian, konteks sosial-ekonomi, budaya individualistik, dan kehidupan urban turut membentuk variasi tingkat burnout pada orang tua Generasi Z. Secara keseluruhan, parental burnout pada orang tua Generasi Z merupakan proses dinamis dan transaksional yang melibatkan interaksi kompleks antara faktor emosional, perilaku, kepribadian, serta konteks demografis dan budaya, sehingga menegaskan pentingnya intervensi multidimensional dan sensitif terhadap gender serta konteks sosial untuk memutus siklus burnout–konflik dan melindungi kesejahteraan emosional anak.Referensi
