BAGAIMANA PERFECTIONISM DAN SELF EFFICACY MEMPREDIKSI PROKRASTINASI PADA SISWA DI MASA REMAJA

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tipe perfeksionisme yang ditinjau dari self-oriented perfectionism dan socially prescribe perfectionism terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling pada siswa SMA di Kabupaten Bireuen dengan jumlah 336 siswa yang terdiri dari laki-laki dan perempuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik, children and adolescent perfectionism scale-short form, dan general self-efficacy scale. Analisis data menggunakan uji analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) self-oriented perfectionism dan socially prescribe perfectionism berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, (2) self-efficacy berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, (3) tidak adanya pengaruh self-oriented perfectionism dan socially prescribe perfectionism terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa SMA yang dimediasi oleh self-efficacy. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa semakin tinggi self-oriented perfectionism ataupun socially prescribe perfectionism seorang individu maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi akademik siswa begitupula sebaliknya. Selain itu juga semakin tinggi self-efficacy seorang individu maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi akademik siswa begitupula sebaliknya. Namun, self-efficacy tidak memediasi pengaruh antara self-oriented perfectionism ataupun socially prescribe perfectionism terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa
