Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis pada anak sulung perempuan di fase dewasa awal menjadi topik penting karena anak sulung perempuan sering menghadapi beban tambahan, seperti memenuhi ekspektasi orang tua dan tanggung jawab pengasuhan adik. Fenomena ini semakin relevan untuk dikaji karena dampaknya sering kali baru disadari di masa dewasa, di mana mereka menghadapi tantangan identitas dan kesejahteraan pribadi. Dalam konteks ini, penting untuk memahami bagaimana pengalaman mereka membentuk kesejahteraan psikologis di masa dewasa awal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesejahteraan psikologis pada anak perempuan sulung di tahap awal masa dewasa, dengan menyoroti dampak tanggung jawab dan peran dalam keluarga, berlandaskan teori kesejahteraan psikologis dari Ryff (1989) dan konsep urutan kelahiran menurut Adler (1927). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada perempuan berusia 19-25 tahun. Hasil studi mengungkapkan bahwa pengalaman yang bervariasi secara internal, termasuk peran dalam keluarga mempengaruhi keseimbangan psikologis mereka, dan turut menentukan sejauh mana mereka merasakan tekanan. Hal tersebut di pengaruhi oleh faktor internal yang terjadi dalam keluarga, sehingga individu yang tidak memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis secara positif, akan rentan mengalami kesulitan dalam menghadapi setiap proses yang dialami dalam kehidupan.
