Abstract

Masa dewasa awal adalah masa krusial dalam perkembangan individu, di mana individu mulai mengeksplorasi diri dan membangun hubungan romantis yang lebih intim, hubungan yang terbentuk dapat memengaruhi kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan pasangan menjadi keputusan yang penting dalam hidup. Namun, preferensi dalam memilih pasangan dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya yaitu faktor keterlibatan ayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami pengaruh keterlibatan ayah terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan pada anak perempuan dewasa awal. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan sebanyak 418 partisipan yang merupakan perempuan dewasa awal berusia 18 hingga 25 tahun, belum menikah, masih memiliki ayah, dan pernah tinggal bersama ayah. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Father Involvement Scale (FIS) dan Mate Selection Survey (MSS). Proses analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 27 untuk uji statistik deskriptif responden dan variabel, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji korelasi, dan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasilnya diperoleh keterlibatan ayah berpengaruh sebesar 7.2% terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan, dengan nilai sig < 0.001 < 0.05.
