Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia

This study aims to determine whether the use of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has an effect on learning outcomes in the “Respiratory System” unit of the Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) curriculum for fifth-grade students at SDN 101766. This study was conducted at SD NEGERI 101766, located on Jl. Terusan Dusun II, Bandar Setia, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, during the odd semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. This study employed a quasi-experimental design and utilized a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 36 students selected using purposive sampling. The results were obtained from the Mann-Whitney U Test with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect and is classified as quite effective on learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (IPAS) for the Respiratory System unit in Grade 5 at State Elementary School 101766.
