Pendidikan Fisika aims to enhance the development of sciences research in the field of physics education both for young researchers, independent researcher, as well as supporting research physics teachers. This is done in order to improve the quality of physics education in Indonesia in order to grow towards the International. This journal is a journal that was developed by The Magister of Physics Education Departement in State University of Medan and collaboration with State University of Medan. This journal started since 2012, the first site in http://dikfispasca.org until 2013 and Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika were then transferred into http://jurnal.unimed.ac.id/2012/index.php/jpf. Prepix DOI journal has transferred from 10.22611 to 10.24114 starting from Vol 10 No 2 December 2021.
Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika has been ACCREDITED by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, SK No. 204/E/KTP/2022, December 12th, 2022.
